A value-based education prepares a student for life. Any amount of knowledge alone will not make a pupil successful in life knowledge along with life-giving values will help one to face different situations in life, build-up one's own personality-help others to do the same and thus promote life in all that one does in society. Today our society needs such persons who have the values of concern understanding, forgiveness humility, service mindedness, selflessness, great desire to do good for the welfare of all and above all genuine love for all without any discrimination.
We are tying to give these values in the school and more to our students through the extra-curricular activities like orientations, retreats, weekly prayer services, PD lessons etc. besides teaching different subjects, for their academic knowledge. When these students experience clashing values in their homes, neighborhood and society at largest, their minds are confused and disturbed.
A house is built up of bricks, cement, metal, wood, etc. But a home is made up of human beings who loves and care for each other, ready to serve one another and overlook the mistakes and shortcomings of each other having a good relationship among the family members for the betterment of all. We need to look at our families whether we are living in a house or a home. When we deal with children these days, we come to realize that they do not have the mental strength, bodily what you give to others, you will get back in abundance.
Every human action is based on reciprocity. We do things, even as parents because we also hope that in return things will be done to us as well. When the children are young. they are on the receiving end of their parent's tender loving care. A time will come in the life of a child to repay his/her parents by taking care of them.
Life is an Echo,
What you send out, you get it back.
What you give, you receive.
Wishing you God's abundant blessings.
